In a few words tell us about yourself
I grew up in a middle class family in Ibadan, Oyo state. My family enjoyed travelling, fine dining and staying in hotels. I have an MBA from Business school Netherlands having graduated form University of Ibadan with a B.sc in Political Science. I spent 15 years in banking before resigning in 2014 to start my own business.
What inspired your interest in the hospitality and tourism industry?
We were exposed to the hospitality sector very early in life. My experiences over the years got me interested in the sector as i witnessed the falling standards in the sector in Nigeria. I am a big fan of the Four Seasons brand which i consider the most service driven franchise in the hospitality sector, while i have traveled all over the world for tourism and understand its importance to the sector. I also led the team that developed the concept of the Lagos state project “THESE” ( Tourism,hospitality, entertainment, sports and entrepreneurship).
What’s your vision for the hospitality & tourism industry?
To revolutionize the industry through service excellence and continuous training. I will be setting up a hospitality school within the next eighteen months in line with this vision.
In what ways has your company contributed to the growth of the hospitality industry and it’s stakeholders?
Through training , management and product development.
What are your major challenges in your business?
What are your thoughts on the state of the hospitality & tourism industry in Nigeria?
We have not even scratched the surface in tourism while hospitality service is still at its lowest.
How do you intend to join in the campaign of changing the game and perception of the hospitality & tourism industry in Nigeria?
Through constant engagement with the government and the hospitality schools.

Hospitality is the most rewarding sector for those that are discerning and ready to serve. Hospitality and tourism creates lasting memories which remain the most valuable asset of any man.
