What’s your vision for the hospitality & tourism industry?
I look forward to the African continent enjoying her fair share of the tourism earnings, especially from African source markets.
In what ways has your company contributed to the growth of the hospitality industry and it’s stakeholders?
We launched a tour warehouse for domestic and inbound tours called www.naijaholidays.com and published the most comprehensive tour brochure to date in Nigeria for domestic and inbound tours to Nigeria and West Africa. We also organised a successful first edition of Nigeria Travel Week in 2017.
What are your major challenges in your business?
Access to funds and a limited pool of professionals to collaborate with in Nigeria.
What are your thoughts on the state of the hospitality & tourism industry in Nigeria?
Still yet to take off as our vast tourism potentials are yet untapped. Majority of the associations and parastatals are being managed by non-professionals and those who do not genuinely have a passion for domestic and inbound tourism.
How do you intend to join in the campaign of changing the game and perception of the hospitality & tourism industry in Nigeria?
As CEO of Nigeria Travel Week we are working with various industry associations and players to change the narrative and project the true tourism potentials of Nigeria.
